Well the fact that its actually from the game of life is kinda lame IMO seeing as NetGore hasn't got much to do with zero-player algorithms, not exactly a low level program or anything traditional for that matter, a false representation of what the engine is really about. Basically it shows that the only way you can be creative is by copying something from somewhere else. I liked the old shape better, because it was original and represented the building blocks or consruction of a program, basically a logo representing creativity.

Infernal Reaper I like it, it DOES stand out and it's pretty catchy. However, the fact that it stands out so much turns me off a bit. It's like my first draft, where it just is too intense of a gradient. You did give me an idea, though... and I played along with it. Looking at it being used in the theme made me switch around some things and thus...
Here's what should be a final version. Made it stand out, less gradient, and now has no background since you weren't using it anyway!

The icon can be whatever you make it out to be. You can think of it as an unoriginal rip-off of a pattern from the Game of Life, or you can think of it as a representation of something that, alone, does nothing, but with a few additions done correctly, can be a work of art, or however you want.

I'm not sure, I still don't think blue on blue works very well.

It might be worth trying out another colour just to see what it looks like. Not sure which one though!

It could still be blue, it just needs to be a blue that fits better.

I could have swore I requested an Arch Games logo here and nex made me one. Sadly I went through every page and it isn't here. And the one I had saved it appears I deleted.
