:D

this is wicked, I havent played a full year yet,
but people already tell me "i heard you were good"
although i only had 2 gigs, and only one was with my band :D

the other was recently with an improvized troop,
it was kind of fail, but random people together improvising...
well instrumentally it was cool, but i totally wasnt able to get my singing voice in.. O_o
oh well...

so i have people saying "f*** you, you dont even play a year yet!"
and then someone asked me a favor...
to teach him :D

i now give him bass lessons once a week,
i get 25 euros/month for it

so yeah, i play for 8 months and already teach :D
now im making a website and preparing to record some youtube videos
also writing some tabs etc,
so i can offer the site as a little "extra" to my students,
(theyll have a special login, ill make the BASICS free)

The special thing about the site is, its german, and my students can contact me any time.

I give lessons in Rock/Pop/Hiphop/Metal Bassplaying
yes, i teach hiphop aswell as metal :D

Okay, UPDATE:

now have 4 students (enough for now!)

I meet 3 of em once a week,
and 1 of em every 2 weeks. (she wanted it that way)

First student will overtake me in 6 months.
I know it, hes a genius, its amazing :D
2. student is a 2 year player that thought he could teach himself but totally
messed up, he has some dee failures everywhere and cant play one song,
itll take long but a job is a job (and he pays per hour)
3. and 4. students start in 2 weeks (after vacation)

I earn 5 euros per hour.
its enough for me, and i learn a LOT while preparing lessons.
(im still practicing a lot of funk and solo bass atm...)

my newest acquired technique are PINCH HARMONICS on bass ;D
They ain't easy at all but nearly half of my pinches work during improvisation...
really requires precision....

and i was offered a position in a band that actually makes money, really thinkin about that one, as im still in school...

and: i got a gift from a friend:
Ibanez GAXB 150. A great(!!!!) shortscale beginners bass ;D
