HI, I'm Glaedr, and i need people to help with a game I'm calling Realm of War.

Basically, the game is an MMORPG version of Risk. You may fight over towns, pieces of land, even whole islands. It works by using a nation made up of guilds to fight in organized, or free for all battles. Organized battles are fights that occur only between two guilds or nations and are planed by the guilds. a free-for-all is planed by the GMs and includes ALL Nations and Guilds.

Right now, I plan to make Sprite Graphics and edit the quests, story, map, items, NPC's, yada yada yada. What i need are people to help with the Scripts, website, Map graphics (that includes organizing the grh codes.) , and some basic ideas. We also need a place to put it up 24/7. THIS will be F2P, but an Item shop may have to be added to reduce Server costs.

Might sound harsh but when people use "scripts" instead of programming or coding I tend to lose interest instantly. Might be dumb of me but it's just I associate the word "scripting" with Eclipse or Xtremeworlds and those forums are full of dumb people.

Anyways, as Kyori said, show us what you got already. What's your "game plan"? How are you gonna keep things organized, maybe a roadmap? Are people who offer help getting paid?

Check out some of the other topics in this board and try to be as complete as possible.

Before I can create a map, i need people to create graphics first. I have i idea for how the game will work combat wise, and i can easily do the animations for those attacks. The Story though, i will need to work on to prep it for the game.

The game is currently indie, But an item shop will be established if money is needed.

are you a programmer?
People want to join projects that show progress, they don't want a team leader who does nothing and just gets other people to do things for him.
