Im looking for mappers, spriters/artists, ideas people, coders, Story writers, and musicians :)


What you get out of joining the team:

-Credits in the game
-GM position and/or forum moderator position
-Hours of fun and knowing you helped make a fun game for people to enjoy!

-GUI maker (attempt anyway :P)

Yeah it is and this site will be in my credits for sure as it is awesome :P

Yeah, good luck with recruiting. If I can add this => Try to work a bit more on your main menu graphics because it looks like 5 minutes work...you should realize that player will see that first and many can be rejected just from the view of main menu.
Just my toughts and small tip (not that you requested one...I know)

Thanks for the input, I was actually thinking of revamping it as I was looking at it today and was like hmm kind of boring...

Ill probably end up making it pop out more and be more attractive as well as with in-game gui

Im thinking of ideas right now :P

Ill keep you posted.

Looks nice, but when I saw "Badass Online", I didn't immediately think, "fantasy genre". To me, badassery and "NOES MAH PRINCESS HAS BEEN CAPTURED WHATEVER WILL I DOO-TEE-DOO" don't really mix. I was expecting... slicked-back hair and leather jackets and motorcycles. And, er, banhammers?

Thats the spirit :)

This game is going to be all about the community and about having fun, it doesn't need to make perfect sense as long as we are all enjoying ourselves and having fun killing shit together :P

As for the ban hammers, I would fear them if I was you :P as I will for sure actually put them in the game xD

A game doesn't need to be about bikers to be badass does it? I think old style fighting with swords and killing random monsters is pretty badass don't you?

few hints:

if you are the project leader, also do this job.

Grab word and excel and structure everything.
have lists of, for example GRH structures,
item list to be later thrown into DB,
work lists for each member
public relations (interviews, recruitments, etc)
financial management
offer your crew a method of communication, etc

so yeah, that should be your main focus if the game is to be successful
(fun with 2 people is meh)

also, do not offer these "spoilers" that offer nothing.
I mean nothing, 0% advance.
what I saw was vbGOREmania, which is NOT recommended as "clean game base"
from my point of view, which new graphics that repell the player.

grab vbgore and work your vbgoremania features into it.

the more "features" built in from default, the worse an engine is to be used as base for a game.

all in all the early presentation of the game is a bad thing to do.
if you have no planned out storyline and exact plans,
it will get messy very fast.

no offense to be read frokm this post please, just a semi-wannabe-professional
oppinion on it and some hints to get you in the "game completion" lane...
of course thats a DAMN long road to walk, and no busses or trains drive there...
