Yeah, sorry. There is just so much out there on the basics of programming, it is a pretty easy thing to do on your own, and it is something most all schools already offer to some degree. I wanted to spend my time teaching people stuff they won't pick up in class. I have never heard of a class teaching version control or unit testing, along with give a chance to work with multiple people at once. But these are all vital skills for real-world programming jobs.

Haha, I'm nowhere near experienced enough for anything like that. This is a learning experience for me, too. I have never used version control in a development environment, nor have I worked with a few others actively on a project. Also, I'm sure people will be able to point out stuff I could improve (besides stuff I did poorly just to get it done quicker).

I was actually talking about the length of the page you linked to :P.

I laughed so hard...

The game itself is a 2d side-scroller, like Maple Story.

Whats wrong with it being a side-scroller? Or is it because I compared it to what is probably the most popular side-scroller ORPG (as sad as that is)?

Did you get rotational animation working? the animating the skeleton part is easy, although im having a hard time working out how whether i need to make my own keyframe editor. Coz i have no idea how to actually make the animation.

Elaborate on the question in a new topic if you want me to answer, since I am not sure what you mean, and this isn't the appropriate thread. ;)

Actually probably won't be necessary. It definitely wouldn't hurt, but I will probably be a list of stuff I recommend doing/reading to get into the flow of things for those who get in. This will definitely be one of them. Having any knowledge of previous experience in source control is not a prerequisite, but you should read up on it anyways just for your own benefit.

But I do recommend that, for everyone who applies (which has been quite a few so far - yay!), pore over all material you can find on C# as much as you possibly can. No need to learn XNA, but it is important you are comfortable in C# so you can get started in contributing sooner.
