Naaa. That would be that much more insecure.
Just distribute the EditorMap.exe file to the Admins. Its that simple.
More secure and everything.
ALSO, the Maps have to go through you or whoever the server host is first.
Good for security and pre-debugging.
Also the client would be bigger and uglieer.

Just; don't think of it again? Pleaseeee

If you want it, you can look for an example in some of the extremely old versions of vbGORE. It was removed due to complexity.

Complexity on both the user and programmer side, along with it was terribly painful to try and edit with.

If the vbGORE editors were like that of Eclipse and Elysium then vbGORE wouldn't be vbGORE.
Right now vbGORE means 'Professional' and 'Quality' but with an ingame editor like that it would mean 'Worthless' and 'Pointless'.
There are too many engines around based off Konfuze.
Elysium, EOMM, Mirage, and Eclipse to name just a few.

Words like ignorant also come to mind. I like it the way it is now but it would not be worthless. This is just a request, no need to reply with info that does not contribute. It is simpler (and better) this way yes (in vbgore's case), but it does not mean any other way is useless.

You will also have to include a few other things, such as \MapsEX\, \GrhMapEditor\, \ServerData\ (just my MySQL part of Server.ini), but I think thats it. They will have to upload the maps to your server manually, though. When you save it map, it is just saved on your hard drive.

Wow! I reaally thought that actually all that engines were based on mirage and not in konfuze :S weird...

Anyway, If you want something like that I think it is pretty unproffesional, because the mappers can map whatever they want and you lose the control over your game.

correct, all those engines ARE based off of Mirage...

I somewhat dislike the whole MAPEDITOR IN CLIENT COOL COOL FEATURE shit, its frustrating to look at, somewhat extremely limited... I agree with Mr Toast, you do lose control.... I dont want some random moron who I dont even know who has been given access to create shit to his or her own content. Games have owners for a very good reason...

I think I might need to correct this...

Mirage was before all of those just so u know so technically konfuze is based off of mirage =P

and so u know u can actually hardcode it into the mapeditor instead of distributing the server.ini

Well you can make it for those who have GM flag, then it won't be much worthless and pointless.
