I obviously don't have the source for this engine but I might consider buying it for my birthday, anyways I was wondering if there was any alternate way to change the game client's IP Address to mine (I tried a hex editor) but so far I have had no luck. :?

Go to the file \Data\Settings.ini

Code:
[GENERAL]
AccountIP=127.0.0.1
AccountPort=8901
GameIP=127.0.0.1
GamePort=8900
DebugMode=1
CursorSpeed=1.6

No need to edit the binary. ;)

Btw, if you want to connect remote, you will also have to edit the \Server Data\Settings.ini file to allow remote connections. This will also require you to, if you are behind a router, enable port forwarding.

Thanks for the help, and maybe one more question... Is it technically illegal for ppl who have the source to privately give it to thier friends for free?

Yeah, well it's meant to be a donation perk, not something you just give to your friends for fun..then there's no more donations for spodi's hard work.
