 Post subject: Earth/Water Sword

I need help on shading, any good tutorials for shading and pixel arting... (If that makes sense.)

I use PhotoShop 7.0.
I was thinking I could use the burn tool, but wasn't sure if that was the best technique or not.

Hm, it looks kinda flat, especially the handle. The colours are also a bit weird, I know it's the "Earth/Water Sword" but it doesn't look right.

Keep working on it though, I'm sure you'll get it soon enough.

For one, it looks like a cardboard cut-out. It doesn't come off as "sharp", and it is very blocky. Also, like Kyori said, it is very flat looking. The handle seems quite tiny, too.
