The updated post is over at www.netgore.com

Hey guys,

Since we're developing SVO with vbGore I'll post it here :)
All the info is at our website: http://www.skyon.be, our forum: http://forum.skyon.be and our vbGORE SP modified MySVO: http://my.skyon.be

At the moment we got a 24/7 server (95% uptime), a pretty active playerbase and quite a bit of content already, don't hesitate to check it out :D

Custom Features (not in vbGore by default):
- Guilds
- Friend/Blacklist
- Modified Online list
- Lots more chat conditions
- Follow other players
- Advanced Group/Party system
- Lots of tweaks, changes and additions

Our first map, after almost a month of waiting on the graphics we've finally got nearly all of them. Here's the unfinished map:

http://svo.skyon.be/images/svc_unfinished.png (map capture messed up some parts of the map, don't mind those)

Nice maps btw, but i am assuming you guys are still waiting on more graphics, as the trees and houses are very repetative

Nah we're good :) by graphics I meant the textures, not the actual map ^^ I just made this one in 1-2 hours.

just as a suggestion, i think it would be REALLLLLY cool if you had a top-menu bar type thing like in mother 3... that would be totally awesome...

maybe when you press a button, or when your mouse reaches the top of the screen, the menu would fold down, and you could then open various menus and such..

In fact we're planning to have a menu similar to Mother 2 / Earthbound. I haven't played Mother 3 yet though and most of the people on the team want to stick with M2 stuff but we'll see :)

@thedarktiger: Repetitive graphics are everywhere in Earthbound (on which this game is based).

Nintendo of America are asses, they refuse to localize it (never did M1+2 GBA either :(). The guys over at starmen.net are busy with a translation patch, it's been a year though, guess it isn't that easy to do >.<

great work i cant wait to play it!

btw starmen said theyre on the last chapter of mother 3,

also have you guys considered putting some storyline in for geigus / geiygas?
alot is left unexplained and some things explaining in visual form instead of debate is nice.
