crap............................

do you have any security settings on your folders? when you start the updater, it checks for folder directories and if there arent any it tries to make them.. that may be an issue??

Just fyi, you shouldn't need to open ports for the client. Port opening is just for the listening socket, which is only used in the servers (client connects to server, server doesn't connect to client).

Unless your monitor handles green really weird, because it actually seems kinda... dull to me.

Edit: I apologize, I'm partially color blind (colors are dim to me) so my opinion is 'biased', in a strange sense of the word (more like 'I can't control it' biased')

Why is that information an edit? Did you just find out after you posted?

If finding out 4 days ago after 16 years that one eye is color blind counts as just finding out, then yeah.

I often forget since it's recent, so after posting, it hit me, and I decided to edit it. I kinda thought it was normal and everyone was like that...

if anyone else wants to try their luck with playing FD.. go for it!!

go to: http://forgottendestiny.net/ click on downloads, and put in the secret code!! (found on page 2 of this thread) and install it.. make a new guy.. and play!!!

there have been issues of people (only on these forums for some reason) who try starting FD, and it just insta-crashes..

anyways.. me and a few guys at work are playing it right now.. weee!!!!!!!
