i think we've agreed on using nex's community sprites, if you want to take those and create the needed grh info that would be cool. not sure of your pixel art skills but new armor and what not to fit on them would be nice too.
which brings up the question, we going to stick with the current paperdoll layers or rework them a bit. might want to add maybe helm and boot layers, but if not adding a new armor layer so that the armor doesnt just replace the body would be a good idea without requiring substantial modification.

oh! i didn't see that we were using that spriteset! thanks for letting me know,

yeah man, more layers! definately an armor, possibly torso and legs seperately.

Replace the name "wing" with something like "back" so someone could use wings, or possibly a quiver, or maybe a turtle shell ^_^

i CAN display my pixel art, i need to find the drive with the images on it... but let's not worry about that! i just love drawing people, so whatever needs to be done there.

I've never really done a GRH, so i may not be the one for that.

well think of it this way, this thing isnt just to show off what vbgore can do, its also a good chance for more people to get involved and get a hands on learning experience where we can all give each other tips since we're working towards the same goal. if you need to learn how to make the grh's, now's a good time. i could probably help you out if you want to see how the layers are actually coded as well. god i need to get my windows computer running again so i can actually contribute to this.

give me a couple of days to get through all of sean greasley's tutorials first,

but i will get going with vbgore as soon as i am done.

I dont think we should us Nex's sprites because they're way too small. It would be easier to make sprites that fit the tileset

I was thinking of using the RM XP charsets and frankensteining them to get different varients. What do you guys think of that?

you dont want to use nex's community sprites for a community game because they're too small but rpgmaker sprites arent?

Nex's sprites are sexier.
Not to mention using rmxp material without a license is breaking copyright and it's obviously smarter having a legal game>_>
