Well vbGORE is great for you, yes making a game is hard takes about 3 years and mostly it takes loads of your time. You need to buy a server to run 24/7 even through vbGORE use low bandwidth still I recommand you buy a professional server plugged in a (university, company, cooperate) datacenter.
Anyways welcome to vbGORE, hope you enjoy it here.
P.S. You just need graphics for this not 3Ds since it's a 2D engine.
I'm glad that I can finally put my 2D skills to work! My pixel art has been getting better every day. I'm quite proud of it. The 3 year commitment sounds ok too. I'm a very patient person, and lately, I've had a lot of time on my hands and want to do something constructive. Also, let's say my dream comes true and I somehow manage to create an amazing, mindblowing game and decide to buy a professional server, about how much would that cost? (I'm not really concerned, I've just always been curious)
Now, onto another question (I should be done soon). Where would I go to learn about this Visual Basic 6? Online sources, books, posts on the forum, etc. Anything would be helpful!
Thank's again for taking the time to help a new guy out! I really appreciate it.
