If you're not confident with your 2D art skills, you could download some free 3D models from somewhere like TurboSquid and render them in a free modeling/rendering program. Might help everything feel more consistent :)

those are the tiles. the sprites came from somewhere/someone else but who it was escapes me at the moment.

The sprites came from a man named Avatar. I don't and haven't contacted him in ages (at least over a year), but he is the co-owner of the site http://www.zidev.com/. Thats all I remember. For those who were here a long time ago, you probably remember http://spodi.zidev.com/. ;)
