vbGore Free Online RPG Engine

well title says it all ive never doen anything like this before but would like to try and make a game
i have some programming skills i tend to make alot of automation programs for games buisness and such so have some knowledge but never anything on this end ive used mostly c html and pascal and vb but have never used them for anything liek this

Never used anything like what, vb6 or vbGORE? for vbGORE, try the wiki.

For vb6, try http://www.vb6.us. I googled vb6 tutorials and that was the first result on the list, so I assume it's popular.

I downloaded vbgore and looked at the code for 2 months.
sure i played around in it, looking where whats defined, what calls what, etc.
then i followed simple tutorials from the tut section on the wiki.

after some time i felt quite stable in vbgore and wrote my own inventory system.

This is the best way to do it imo. And read up on some simple vb6 tutorials too.

FIRST understand vb6 basics and then do it how i did.
