Is the community project dead? Correction, did it ever go anywhere? I would love to see Drasil+Heros of Kanarath+Merrimint+Realm Of The Four Dragons+Aleron+Tanaros in one. But thats just my thoughts.

This whole section is a bunch of fail. Shame the community couldn't combine their talents to make something simple that's up 24/7 so newbies could see a vbgore game in action.

Community Projects almost always die, no matter how ambitious they start out. This is especially true for programming projects.

Yup, cause it would be impossilbe to have 20 people programing. Plus some of us *cough* like to have credit everywhere.

Well, not 20 programmers but still, 5 of those could join together, working on seperated parts. Programmers that are without a job can do story writing, game concept, shaping ideas, building words...most of us are familiar with game designing what is more than programming and art (much more than that...)

If I would have free time, then I would gladly lead everything and I believe that I could get something done will all interested people. It's is community project, yep, but it still needs leader that would say: "Open space for programing auction house", "open space for drawing tavern" and so on...

You get it!

This isn't very likely to happen any time soon, if ever. Everybody is working on their own projects and they aren't going to give them up to work on the community project.

Coordinating people isn't the issue, it's actually getting them on the project in the first place that is.
