Okay downloaded everything for MySQL and went to connect to server (keep in mind want to run it local). I don't know what to do and only get even more confused on the setup page, so can someone tell me what to do step by step and in dummie. I'm not talented in computers haha.

With a response like yours darkfrost it's no wonder no one seems to get their answers, answered. I simply asked for help in a simple easy to understand methods, if that was below you than don't bother posting. That set-up guide is missing a few details for setting it up, suggest the people who make this product make sure all the steps are covered.

Well that's your first misunderstanding there, isn't it? vbGore isn't a product, it isn't being sold to anyone, you're not being charged for it.

What Darkfrost meant was that since you're a self professed newb to computing, programming and working with something like vbGore probably isn't for you. This is an engine, not a games maker, you actually need to know quite a bit about computers and about visual basic 6 to use this engine. That's why this probably isn't for you.

Far from it for us to chase away prospective contributors, however you just aren't clued up enough to be able to work with this without posting 2-3 threads a day asking questions about everything, and that's not getting at you, it's just what would happen.

So he says to a guy 1061x his post count. >_>

To use this engine to it's full potential, you have to know a bit about computers and programming in VB6.

And there wasn't really anything wrong with Darkfrost's reply... It was blunt, is all.
