Are free graphics free?

...well, yeah.

I mean, if I used them for a game but didn't charge for said game, but someone still donated to it, would that still be allowed?

mine are free to use. I just ask (not required) to be credited. The only thing i don't want is someone saying they made them.

My golden rule is "read through the website 1-2 times, if nothing refers to any licence, contact author"
