I haven't used waffles.fm or what.cd but im pretty sure their collection of funk and breakbeats wouldn't be as thorough and rare as mine

You'd be surprised, they have a heck of a lot of obscure stuff.

The reason im doing it is because bboys/bgirls are always trying to find breakbeats. Bboy.org had an "upload your beats" thread which had a bagillion uploaded songs but they banned download mp3s from attachments and every time someone uploads something even from another site it gets removed almost the next day, everyone has gotten really irritated by it (including me). Apart from that, the thread got so big it was almost impossible to find anything. Theres atleast 10 posts per day asking for songs, or "what is this song" and an equal amount of people making suggestions to what are "good" songs. Heaps of people also need mixes when they are preparing their own jams, and its much easier to download a pre-made one than make one themselves, and plus when DJ's do it they usually do a better job of it.
Ah I get it.

Well if you've got the "market" all to yourself then it shouldn't be a problem getting a bunch of people to start posting stuff up.
If you're wanting more information on trackers and indexers and stuff like that I'd take a look at the wikipedia article on BitTorrent (
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitTorrent_(protocol)), it has a ton of information on it
