I'm looking for ideas for 'mini' games.

Say you have some attributes. (Strength, Agility, Stamina, Heart, Constitution) What type of little mini game could be played to train your strength stat? Agility?

For example, Off the top of my head say we wanted to play a game to build strength. Naturally you think of weight lifting. What action would have to be done in the mini game to 'lift' the weight. Maybe click a mouse button 10 times within a time limit of 2 seconds? Does that sound stupid to 'train' strength?

heh, I can't seem to be very creative right now. Thats why I'm asking you guys to see what kind of ideas everybody else may have for these 'mini' game ideas.

Maybe your guy starts on a track and you have to tap a key as fast as you can to get your guy to run faster to the finish line... because he's racing a polar bear! With LAZER BEAMS!

player gets locked in a room with a few enemy npcs and has to kill em all. after he does he gets a +1 str point and the next slightly larger wave of baddies comes. each time the player wants to train he will go up against a number of npcs relavtive to the current strength level.

training stats isnt that bad an idea. you usually have people just mindlessly grinding for levels/stats anyway so at least you're trying to keep it interesting.

I like this idea and i've been thinking of similar ones. how about you make them play one of those trapped in the room games and they have to get out in a certain amount of time. once they finish it they get an intel point or wisdom. I dont know, maybe it would be too hard to make so many of those games it's just my two cents.

oh crap i just realized this topic was cleared out two months ago
