Apperantely PSCode did NOT include vbGORE as "Code of The Month" even though we ended the month with the #1 position! I sent them an email and going to wait two days for a reply before sending some more. I have the feeling since some people made their first votes to vbGORE or made an account just to vote for vbGORE, they counted them as invalid, even though the IPs are all different.

Me mad, me very mad... :x

Well here is the response from PSCode...

Quote:
It looks like you had about 5 fraudulent votes that were removed
from your score. That bumped you down a little. That is why you did not
win the coding contest.

So here is my reply:

Quote:
Amanda,

I am curious, what classified these votes as "fraudulent"? Was it people signing up and making the vote for this game their only vote (wouldn't be surprised if that is the case since people have found this project outside of PSCode and could have signed up just to vote for it)? Or was there IP matches to many of the same accounts? IP matches I can understand being fraudulent, but people signing up to PSCode to make their first/only vote for one project I see as something that would more show their support for the project.

Thanks for your time!
-Spodi

I guess we'll see what made these votes fraudulent ones...

That's not why you lost, you lost because the system is built by venture capitalist pigs and when they see greatness shared and displayed for free to be enjoyed by anyone & everyone, all of a sudden their bank account's asses start to tighten and they fear the new free world! Viva la Revolution Spodi - We all know who deserved it and who really won.

Well I did get plenty of publicity being on the top list, the rest after that really isn't important. 8)

Spodi,

We just have an automated fraud detection program. I cannot tell you
the exact reason but our program found it.

Sincerely,
Amanda Miller

...*sigh*

Oh well... at least Amanda was helpful.
