Let me say I am amazed at what you can do with DBGORE and DBGOREMANIA.

Having said that..Im astonished that there are no buttons to press that cause events to happen inside a dungeon for example...no projectiles to avoid like fireballs, no keys to collect to open doors. No way to create puzzles or traps.

I am from the generation of such classic games as Dungeon Master I + II, Eye of the Beholder, Legacy of the Anchients. If your too young to know what these games are...look them up please. :)

Anyways, can anyone tell me how they would implement a key opens door method? How about a way to create mathematical puzzles? Or objects placed in an alcove activates a pit or opens a door? any ideas?

From what I can see it will have to be written from scratch and I have no idea how to do it. HELP.

Thanks,

Ken K

I don't see this as being too hard. I would add it to the maps data as a kind of if x,y is occupied, show warp at x,y.
