As a free project, vbGORE has to rely on other methods to get any profit. Besides advertising, the only way vbGORE can get any profit is from donations. Every donation counts, and is appreciated greatly, no matter the size!
Along with the personal satisfaction of supporting a free project that has had thousands of hours of work put into it, you will receive a few rewards:

Donator perks
All perks require a minimum $10.00 donation with the except of the Plagued Dead source and Web Page Templates, which require a $25.00 minimum donation and the Ninja Story Engine which requires a $40.00 minimum donation.
Donators status
Your name will be placed on the donation page under a list of donators so everyone can know that you are a contributor of this project! You may also choose to donate anonymously if you wish to do so.
Ninja Story Engine source ($40)
This perk requires at least a $40.00 donation
Ever want to create your own Maple Story or Ghost Online style game? Well now you can with the Ninja Story engine source and a little VB6 programming know-how! This engine was designed for a game originally titled Ninja Story that Spodi was hired to work on, but progress stopped due to financing issues. So to prevent the hundreds of hours spent creating this engine go to waste, it is available to all for a small donation to vbGORE. Although this engine is discontinued, support will be given. Donators will be given the complete source for the engine allowing them to create their own game.
Plagued Dead source ($25)
This perk requires at least a $25.00 donation
Donators will now get access to the source code for my own vbGORE game, Plagued Dead, which uses the latest version of vbGORE. Reason for this is that development has halted for a while due to another paid programming project I picked up. Theres hardly any new art to play with, but theres a lot of new skills and features. A small list of the more significant features are:
- Account system - support multiple characters per account, a globally shared bank, account server, etc - vital for those who want a pay-to-play game
- Chat channels - join and leave channels instead of one global channel
- More NPC chat options - you can add support for any event from talking to an NPC, such as change your class
- Pseudo-3d particle system - give particles a lot more life by adding a pseudo-Z axis and shadows in a very easy to use system
- New stat system - stats are increased by spending experience, not by getting a few stat points every time you level, removing emphasis from your level and putting more emphasis on strategy
- New skills - 12 highly original skills that all work in completely different manners that can push your opponent, hold them in place, decrease their stats, send you flying towards them or running past them all and shove them out of the way
- Brutal blood system - smash your enemies faces in and see the results splattered all over the place with a highly worked on blood particle system
- Quest log window - keep track of your quests with an easy to use interactive quest window instead of using the chat window
- Character motion blur - a character-based motion blur system that is used on a lot of the skills that adds a great effect to showing a character moving quickly over a fast distance by multiple instance rendering at a gradually decreasing alpha
- Client-side objects - object information stored on the client to greatly reduce bandwidth and allow you to easily display much more information on objects
- Detailed object descriptions - be able to access most all of the details of an object, which is great for the inventory window
- And much, much more!
This code was at least 2 months worth of work, and you are free to rip any part of the code (or use the code as a whole) for your own project!
Web page templates and content ($25)
This perk requires at least a $25.00 donation
One of our members, Gutterpunk, has generously donated a huge set of web page templates that he got his hands on that can be legally distributed. Now how huge is huge? Try 4 GB when compressed! Theres everything from HTML and flash pages to photoshop files for banners. Templates come complete with PSD and FLA files. They are all very high quality, too. You will be presented with a series of multiple split archives that make up 9 different complete archives, so you do not have to download it all at once, nor do you have to complete the whole download at once.

Site button link
We will put a Micro Bar Button (88x31 pixels) link to your site on the right side bar. The site and button graphic are both your choice, with the exception of no adult, pornographic, illegal materials, scam sites, spyware/adware supported sites, or any other similar sites. If you want to confirm your site is appropriate, you can contact Spodi with the link. If needed, one of the vbGORE members or admin can create the button graphic for you. vbGORE will also host the image for you, too, if needed.
Visual Basic tutorial video set
Thanks to a donation by KiNGBLaDE, we now offer a complete set of beginner-to-intermediate videos for Visual Basic that will help those who are completely new to coding or need a refresher! These videos are in the format of flash, and provide great to all Visual Basic users, and is priceless for the beginner programmer.
Custom forum title
Spice up your forum life with your very own custom title! That's right ladies and gentlemen, you can be titled a Wobbly Spankstick or a Reincarnation of a cow or whatever you wish, as long as it is deemed appropriate and not a reference to being a site admin or moderator if you are not one.
Other information
More rewards may be later added. We will never remove any benefits from donators. All of the rewards are optional and can be added/removed whenever you please (like if you don't have a website now but acquire one later, we will still add a site button). Site links and buttons can be changed, too, as long as it still follows the content requirements. You may donate anonymously if you wish to, too.
