DirectX 8.1 SDK

From VbGORE Visual Basic Online RPG Engine

Every time Microsoft releases a new version of DirectX, they release a SDK, or Software Development Kit, too. The SDK shows how to use different aspects, primarily the new ones, of DirectX in different Microsoft-based languages, such as Visual C++ and Visual Basic.

One of the great parts of the SDKs are that you will often find a few features that you won't see much anywhere else. But unfortunately for us, Microsoft does all it can to force the latest version of their crap on you. Once a new version of DirectX is released, they delete the old SDKs from their site. By now, it can take literally hours searching the net to find a copy of the DirectX 8.1 SDK. Fortunately for you, we have a direct link to it available for download.
